A vital element of this was to use lighting systems that disappeared in the space but that accentuated and illuminated the Arabic jalies or infill panels.

No more important was this than in the multi functional ballroom/conference facility where an edge lighting cove system was used to illuminate the Arabic screening and to provide a homogenous lighting in the conference space. RGB coloured light is also concealed within the cove to provide a party atmosphere for dancing.

The Arabic design influence is again emphasised in the design of the outdoor custom luminaires in the outdoor bar and restaurant.
