Provided specialist lighting consultancy for the British Museum Lighting Team to enhance the visual drama to key museum exhibits and in particular to the special exhibition spaces.

With high ceilings, long throws of light are required and framing of individual pieces provides a technical challenge in how we control a beam of light.

The special exhibition spaces are an exercise in lighting contrast between light and darkness, and in many cases that contrast is 50:1 between the light on the piece and the ambient light around it, moving the visitor through virtual darkness from exhibit to exhibit.

This use of dramatic visual contrast allows the museum pieces to tell their own story.
